Hostel policies

Check-in & check-out

Check-in from 2 pm, check-out until 12 pm. Arriving early? We store your luggage for free. Late check-out subject to availability.

Free up to 48 hours before arrival. After that the deposit (30% of the stay) is kept. No-shows are charged one night.

Welcome. Children under 5 stay free sharing their parents' bed. Crib available on request.

Small pets accepted with prior arrangement (extra cleaning fee). They cannot be left alone in the room.

We ask for ID or passport from all guests on arrival. Foreign tourists with passport and entry stamp are exempt from IGV (18% VAT) on lodging.

Cash, cards, Yape, Plin and bank transfer. We issue electronic receipts and invoices.

Quiet hours from 10 pm. No smoking inside rooms; the patio is fine.

Controller: El Huerto Hostel, located at Calle Bolívar N.º 634, Ica, Perú, controls the customer database. Contact: reservas@elhuertohostel.pe.
Data we process: Names, ID document, nationality, email, phone, stay dates, preferences and billing data.
Purpose: Managing your booking and stay, issuing electronic receipts, complying with the guest registry required by authorities, handling questions and complaints and, only with your consent, sending offers.
Sharing: SUNAT (tax receipts), payment gateways, booking platforms you came through and authorities when required by law. We never sell your data.
Retention: For the business relationship and legal tax periods (up to 5 years).
Your rights (ARCO): You can access, rectify, cancel or object to the use of your data by writing to reservas@elhuertohostel.pe. If we don't reply, you can contact Peru's National Data Protection Authority.
Security: We apply technical and organizational measures: encrypted connection (SSL), role-based access, audit log and daily backups.
Cookies: We use technical cookies and, when enabled, analytics cookies (Google Analytics, Meta) to improve the site.
