Paracas is 1 h 15 from Ica. The Ballestas boat trip leaves early (8 or 10 am) from El Chaco pier and lasts about two hours.
In the afternoon, the National Reserve: Red Beach, La Catedral and clifftop viewpoints. Bring a jacket: it's windy at sea.
Come back to sleep in Ica and continue to Huacachina or Nazca the next day.
